Improving Policy Analysis Skills in Three (3) Pilot Line Ministries

IKS has been awarded a grant from the British Embassy in Prishtina, namely from the Diplomatic Influence and Values Fund. The project aims at supporting tree line Ministries in Kosovo to improve their capacity for policy planning and analysis. It is expected that this project will have a positive impact on the quality of the new legislation and governance.

Capacities build through this project are also expected to help the Kosovo Government in achieving its aspirations toward EU accession while an improved policy process should result in an increased public trust in government institutions.

Through this project IKS has a chance to employ its research and policy skills not only help Government capacity but also influence policies from their inception. An MoU has been signed between the State Secretary, three line Ministries, and IKS. The three monthly and the annual work plan have been approved by the government. Two mentors at the Senior Civil Service level have been assigned to help the process.
